Misdemeanor cases have a minimum twelve-months participation requirement in MMHC. However, the length of the participants’ time in MMHC is dependant on their level of compliance with their treatment conditions and the number of offenses charged. Non-compliance with their treatment conditions may extend the minimally required participation time.
